  1. What is the minimum version to use Simas ID?

    • iOS 13 and Android 21
  2. How should BU send the OTP? Through SMS or WhatsApp?

    • BU can decide whether to use SMS or WhatsApp on their own.
    • Simas ID is only responsible for generating (providing the 6 digit OTP number) and verifying it.
  3. What is the case for invalid OTP?

    • After generating an OTP, the system will be frozen (unable to generate OTP) for a minute
    • If the customer inputs the wrong OTP three times, then the OTP will be invalidated and the customer must do a resend attempt
    • OTP will also expire in 3 minutes
    • The maximum number of resend attempt is 3
    • If all 3 resend attempts are used, the system will be frozen (unable to generate OTP) for an hour
  4. What is the case for invalid PIN?

    • Customer has 3 attempts to input PIN
    • If all 3 attempts are wrong, the system will be frozen (unable to input PIN) for 10 minutes
  5. What will happen if a customer changes their phone number in BU?

    • It is treated as a different entity in Simas ID, the new phone number won’t have the same Simas ID as the previous one
    • If the new phone number hasn’t been registered to Simas ID before, will proceed to ask whether to continue to Simas ID registration
    • If the new phone number has already been registered to Simas ID, will proceed to ask whether to link to Simas ID
    • If the customer ignores the prompts, then customer will be logged out.
  6. Is it possible that 2 phone numbers share the same KTP number?

    • That’s possible because the unique identifier in Simas ID is phone number
  7. How long token and session login expired?

    • session login = 30 days
    • refresh token = 30 days
    • access token = 1 day
